Just got our new patio installed in time to host Father’s Day. Got a Boston butt going on later this afternoon and will smoke some wings as an appetizer tomorrow. Happy grilling everyone!

I love the paver design but one thing I would recommend is to move the Eggs and the grill away from any siding or screens. If you don’t at some point you will either be trying to get rid of the smoke residue or having to replace melted siding.

I appreciate the input! The angle is a bit misleading, they are about 2’ away from everything, and the gas grill is about 3’ away. We have enough prevailing breeze being near the coast that the smoke doesn’t usually linger. These are most likely not their permanent home though, still working on my setup overall because I eventually want to add some storage in the form of cabinets.

    looks like a good setup.
i have a weber next to my egg for skewers and generic stuff, whilst i use the egg sparingly.
all that’s missing is the beer fridge!
    enjoy your cooking.

I would have that grilling corner at the two edges closest to the vantage point of the shot here, creating an “L” on the opposite side of the patio. 2’ just..isn’t enough imo. You would have more than enough room for a sectional where the grills currently are and the fire pit could live in the center of the slab. You also wouldn’t be right next to that AC unit sucking smoke towards the left side so hard and in the case of the eggs, directly at you when standing in front of it. Just me of course but homeowners insurance only covers so much these days and I’m not willing to risk getting screwed by my own negligence.
