Sometimes, you get the wrong plant. The real question is, does it taste good? Ghost peppers are some of the better tasting peppers if you can get by the heat. Hopefully, this has some ghost pepper in it, at least.

This may well be a lame phenotype of an actual Ghost Pepper.
Ghosts have been on the market for a long time, and not every seller selects their plants for the nicest phenotype. I’ve seen many shops sell ghosts that look like this even in their own photos.
If you want a more gnarly phenotype for next year, I can recommend the Super Bhut Jolokia JW sold by Whitehotpeppers.

My vote would be these are Mayan habanero. I’ve grown those for years and love their flavor and spice. Not as fruity as a habanero to me, but still really good. Definitely not a ghost pepper.
