  2. At least you know to put pasta in sauce and mix it in pan. You’re better than 90% non-italians cooking spaghetti

    My solution to this problem is to weigh the pasta while dry.  100grams is a big portion, 50 grams a moderate portion 

    It sounds boring but then a single $4 500g pasta bag would last me 5-10 meals

    Nah too much spaghetti is way too easy to do. I do it every time. Even if I weigh out the spaghetti before hand…I usually add more bc visually, it never looks enough. then it cooks and I end up eating 1/2 a container.
