The Working Bees update in Grow a Garden brings a whole new set of features and items to the game that all players can interact with and acquire.
In a similar way to the previous Friendship update, Working Bees in Grow a Garden expands on elements first introduced previously by adding whole new features such as Crafting that are integrated into past systems.
To cover all of what’s new to play and earn, we’ll run through the Working Bees update in Grow a Garden, covering the brand new Crafting Station, listing all Crafting Recipes, on top of all the new seeds, events, mutations, and more.

Bizzy Bear’s Crafting Station and Recipes in Grow a Garden
The main headline attraction of the Working Bees update is the addition of crafting.
Set up by Bizzy Bear in the centre of the level, you’ll be able to build and collect a variety of items by combining a plethora of other things you find, including Honey you can earn as part of the Bee and Friendship updates.
To begin crafting items, you’ll want to interact with one of the two crafting stations you can find nearby Bizzy Bear – you can even ask them for more information too.

In each of these stations, you’ll be able to craft a variety of items using different plants, currencies, and more. Each one will take a certain amount of time to craft, going by real-time, but much like your garden, will craft even when you’re not on the game.

New Working Bees weather events and mutations in Grow a Garden
As with many of the events in Grow a Garden, there are a variety of new items to earn or adjustments that can radically change the game. One of the most extreme types of these are weather events along with mutations that allow you to sell your plants for higher values at the shop – or simply show them off with a plathora of unique effects.
Here are all the new weather events that can occur in Grow a Garden, added with the Working Bees update:
Working Bee Swarm: Provides x10 crafting speed and increases chance of Pollinated fruits
Volcano: Applies Molten mutation to crops
Meteor Strike: Applies Meteoric mutation to crops

Alongside these, here are the new mutations added in the Working Bees update:
Burnt: Obtained from the Cooked Owl, applies 4x multiplier
Molten: Obtained from the Volcano event, applies 25x multiplier
Meteoric: Obtained from the Meteor Strike event, 125x multiplier
As with all weather events, they are often random with some only spawning on the command of an admin – the Volcano event appears to be an example of this and occured in the moments leading up to the release of the Working Bees update.
New Plants and Pet odds in the Working Bees update of Grow a Garden
On top of the new weather events and mutations, there are also several new plants and pets to acquire.
There are two new pets you can unlock as part of the update, one being the Pack Bee – which expands fruit storage by 25 slots – and the other being the Cooked Owl, a pet who many players will have received for free prior to the launch of the event.
