Tonight we dined at Johns Home Restaurant and Tavern. We had Stuffed Grape Leaves, Tabouli and Tzatziki. I made this dish using a family recipe given to me by a former customer years ago that gave me a Lebanese Cookbook created by his daughter. Delicious food. Try it if you ever get a chance to.

okay tonight we’re having a Lebanese dish uh that somebody taught me how to cook many many years ago messa which is stuffed grape leaves tabuli which is a parsley cucumber tomato salad with bular wheat uh lots of garlic olive oil and lemon juice and I made homemade tabul um excuse me tziki sauce to go with the mesha uh had a customer one time of mine shopped in a store all the time he’s Lebanese and he actually came in one day and gave me a cookbook that his daughter had written that had several Lebanese uh recipes in it and I’ve been cooking this for many years u really really good so hope y’all enjoyed this little short that we did

  1. this is adorable and i love it. we lived in an apartment for some years and our upstairs neighbor was lebanese and she’d bring me these ALL the time and so so so much more. hell i never even understood where she got the ingredients but she always included me because she knew i loved them. so creative and talented and delicious. it’s a real flex you can make those. it looks so fragile and difficult so i think props are due.
