I tried recreating a $22 burrito bowl at home using an app using an app – We’re getting ripped off y’all

I found this amazing burrito bowl from Sweetgreen in SoHo (might be cheaper elsewhere $22 is insane already) and was curious how ripped off I got.

Found this Nouri app (Nouri – Snap & Eat for anyone curious), spent my hard earned 4 bucks on a weekly subscription, took a photo of it (as seen in the pics) and got the recipe for it.

After some rough calculations, it came out to… $6 / bowl.

mind you that I spent another 4 on the app and still came out on top.

Not saying I’ll never go back to Sweetgreen, but this definitely opened my eyes
