On Friday Chef announced a fine dining tasting menu pop up happening every Friday and Saturday this summer in Los Angeles. It’s $250 for 8+ courses and wine. Only 10 seats every night. Basically a wholeass chef’s counter of a restaurant 😂
It’s in Beverly Grove at an unlisted location. This is preceding Daniel’s Jaca restaurant.

“Since @jacarestaurant is running so far behind, I decided to start a small popup up series through the summer. Friday and Saturday night only. 12 people a night. Tasting menu, including wines, $250 per person. Think of it like an evolution of Coi, or a preview of Jaca – it will live in the space in between places, which is a good place from which to create. Mostly I just want to start cooking again. I miss it.
The dinner will be communal. Have some wine and snacks when you arrive, meet new people, sit down to eat together. Now more than ever we need to build connection to each other. I’m calling it Jaca Social Club. Not a restaurant, not formal, but a warm, welcoming place to enjoy good cooking and the company of other wonderful people.
Everything’s crazy and hard right now, but I hope you’ll consider coming by for a good meal and company and a reprieve from all the bad news. It’s going to be fun 😊
Link in bio for reservations (thanks to the @resy team!), see you soon 🙏❤️
Thank you @interpol for the background music.”

Going next week 🤙🏻
Super exciting news. Thanks for sharing.
Seems like a lot of exciting places have been opening up in LA.
man, back when I lived in SF, I was a regular at Coi. Such great food memories. Chef Patterson had (still has?) a unique voice in the fine dining world and it really jived with me.
My first mea at Coi was the the only tasting menu where I enjoyed something so much that I asked for (and received) a second helping!
