I’ve never grown peppers before or anything at all, for that matter but this is the first year. What should I do with all of them? Dry them and make crushed pepper? Make salsa? Throw me some ideas. I also have sweet peppers growing, and tomato’s so maybe they can be mixed into something. Just give me some ideas!

  1. Salsa. Pickles. Ferment. Hot sauce.
Any extra after that we throw into a pickle brine and let it set in the fridge to soften. Then strain, blend and throw into jars and freeze for future concoctions

From the looks of that monster in your hand, I believe you already know what to do.

Eat some, ferment some, dehydrate some for winter and dry the seeds for your pepper grinder. This is my way.

  4. I make sauce, chop/mince a bunch and throw them in the freezer for easy addition to recipes, salsa, spicy brushetta, dry for flakes or homemade chili crisp

Boil ’em, mash ’em, stick ’em in a stew

I would freeze that and eat them like popsicles when it is hot outside.

Ritz cracker + Ham or Turkey + Cheese + Hot Pepper

    Simple, easy, quick, convenient.

Lets you actually TASTE the pepper.

I made a batch of green tomato and chilli chutney for some family Christmas gifts. Also made chilli jam (good for a cheese and biscuits board)
Make your own spicy pickled onions.
    Spicy beetroot chutney.

If I have a good year, I don’t need to buy Christmas presents.

It depends what you like and what peppers u have but generally salsa is a pretty good option

I’d slice this one into rings and pickle it. Great on pasta, pizza.

Hot pepper jam. Super easy to make and it lasts forever. It’s a good gift come Christmas time.
