Finally finished my Gaggiuino after 3 months of tinkering and waiting for orders to be delivered
Just have to heat-shrink the screen wiring. Made some shots and they came out way tastier than my Sage Barista Express. Now to find a nice grinder to pair it with!

The insulation is not recommended. I think they said it will likely cause early failure of the electronic parts due to excess heat build up in the chassis. The chassis is basically a heatsink, and you’re cutting off like 90% of it with the sound damping/insulation. Plus I hear it really doesn’t do much for sound that a modified pump mount couldn’t do better, but without the negatives

Hey cool mod! I always wondered if it was a good idea to mix the metal fittings? But it seems gaccia did it stock that way? Aluminium boiler, brass valve and Stainless steam wand? Is it safe? When is it safe? I have a pressure sensor housed in Aluminium laying around and i was hesitant to put it in my machine which uses brass parts.
