OLD BAY


Recently had brunch at Fado and used this hot sauce. Didn't see it at my grocery store so I bought it online. It's delicious.

Any Old Bay hot sauce fans here?

    It was a limited release, to the best of my knowledge. I bought six bottles and found it to be a worthy substitute for my favorite, Tapatio.

    My current bottle may have turned, though. I don’t remember it being so vinegary.

    It’s not very hot, but it is a flavor bomb. I like it!

    It started off as a limited release. But now it is sold year round at least in my area.

    I wanted to like it but I just couldn’t maybe on fried fish but that’s it. I’m from Maryland for context grew up on the original.

    It was good on sardines, but didn’t like it as much on other foods

    Especially good on any type of fish or seafood. My favorite on oysters.

    Gas.

    Great for wings if you aren’t a huge fan of buffalo

    Good for eggs or to add additional flavor to protein.

    I like using it in campfire foil meals too, it’s not spicy and adds great flavor.

    I love this stuff. I dip my fries in it like other people would ketchup.

    Not hot but taste great

    I thought it would be spicier, but I do like the flavor.

    My go-to for seafood is Marie Sharp’s Belizean Heat. Great for giving shrimp cocktail sauce a little extra kick, or dousing straight up on fried seafood.

    I LOVE old bay seasoning. So I can only imagine how awesome Old bay hot sauce is!

    I tasted Old Bay seasoning for the first time one hour ago. I didnt even know Old Bay is this big of a deal in the US

    Great flavor I just wish it had some heat. I can always mix it with something else at least.

    I didn’t like it all. I like Old Bay, especially the Lemon & Herb one. I LUV Hot sauce, but this didn’t cut it all for Me. Poured it down the drain.

    This is great for seafood or creole based dishes. Jambalaya, gumbo, or mixing into some cocktail sauce or a Bloody Mary. I got a couple big jugs off Amazon because it was hard to find locally.

    I’ve seen it at the store before and thought it would only be good with fish so I passed on it
