I was pleasantly surprised to be under $30 at the store today, but am I playing myself?

What is that, like 2 hours worth of food?

Those Earthbound farm kits are on the Jewel app.right now for $1.99. If you shop around and clip app deals, that would probably be like $15.

When you buy all “organic” and “natural,” yes, that’s what it costs. It’s always been expensive. It’s a luxury for people who have money to elect to spend more on groceries for those labels which are largely a scam anyway.

Wow, that’s a lot from my store here in Medford, OR. It would have been more like $22.

  5. Terrible haul ngl 😭 I just got 3 lbs of potatoes, 3 lbs of apples, 3 cans of beans, two onions, 3 5oz salad boxes, and 2 tubes of chorizo for $20. Start going to cultural grocers (Hispanic, Asian, etc) they always have the best deals on produce and meat.

Organic, prepared, single serving products are the most expensive you can purchase. IMO this does not belong in r/budgetfood for most people. Maybe OP is different.
