Ingredients:
1 cup of red lentils

2 liters of water

1/2 tsp asafetid

2 tsp sea salt

2 carrots

1/2 tablespoon of dried shamballa leaves

1 teaspoon of black pepper

A pinch of nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon of turmeric

300 g of tofu

Ghee for frying

Wash the lentils and soak them in water for 1-2 hours. In the meantime, we cook the vegetables: peel and rub the carrots, cut the tofu into long cubes. Fry carrots with spices and tofu in ghee oil. Pour into water into a large pot, add lentils and cook until boiling over low heat.
