    i had a scotch bonnet sauce a long time ago and it messed up my stomach as well. it wasn’t very good so i didn’t have to finish the bottle. if the sauce is good enough stomach problems won’t stop me

  5. Something about those Caribbean sauces. They’re so good but without fail I’m spraying the bowl with hot lava sludge. Worth it.

    Scotch Bonnet Chilli Mash (64%) (Scotch Bonnet Chillies (87%), Salt, Acid (Acetic Acid)) , Water , Onion Powder , Salt , Acid (Acetic Acid) , Mustard Flour , Modified Maize Starch (E1414) , Stabiliser (Xanthan Gum).

    Ooo I literally chug the blue hot pepper Encona, and have never seen this one. Will definitely be on the lookout next time I’m shopping!

    Oh man, I had this by accident once… once.

    Burned as much on the way out as it did on the way in, it’s wild. Tasty though.

    I love this sauce.

    I used to mix it with mustard on sandwiches and somehow they cancelled each other out and were delicious.

    I moved to Australia last year and took 12 bottles of the original west Indian encona with me. Should last me through to the end of this year. Absolutely no regrets that a quarter of my luggage weight was hot sauce. Best sauce I’ve ever had with eggs.

    How does this one compare heat wise?

    Ooh I hear you. My fav way of eating the devil is on hot tamales drowned with hot coffee. You can imagine what it does to my tongue. Succor for torture. I love hate it.

  14. It’s good and dirt cheap in my local store in France. I recommend the Exxxtra Hot Sauce, it has a great flavor and heat and a bit less “watery” than most other Encona’s hot sauce. Pretty versatile too.
