If I have to eat up there I go to yakitori toto or the Ootoya location there. Why would you? I Dk a shitty work meeting or before some show?

Don’t eat in Times Square should be the answer.

Don Antonio’s or Hide Chan if you’re forced to be in that area. Thalia was lovely but they made it another bastardized tourist diner.

Rudy’s dive bar. A free hot dog for every drink. A beautiful experience. Just don’t ask for ketchup on your dog. People will laugh at you. I know from experience 🤣

If you’re unfortunate enough to work in that area, Dim Sum Sam is actually pretty great for lunch.

The six cheese mac & cheese at Charlie Palmer Steak in the Knickerbocker hotel was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my life – and incredible service (and I think they just opened a new sushi restaurant too – have yet to check it out though).

Not everytime over the last several times apparently. But that just adds to the ambience.

BV’s Burgers. Not the greatest burger but it’s 8oz and $7, $6 on Monday & Friday. Haven’t tried anything else there but prices are very reasonable.
