I’m an international airline pilot and I love trying Nespresso around the world. The other day I was in Portugal and went to Nespresso where I could get the cooler bag! I had to make a Portuguese account (I used my hotel address) and purchased 28 sleeves, but the coffee was about 25% cheaper as well.
I normally only go and sample a few and buy a few sleeves but I did a big haul for the cooler bag.
So excited to get the seasonal pods, but also get some more Cafe Joyeux and ristretto intenso which we don’t have back home!
It was on this trip I realized how passionate I am for Nespresso, but I figure there’s worse addictions!

This is easily the best traveling Nespresso photo I’ve ever seen😍
Get out of town! That is totally awesome. That Ristretto Intenso is really good. We Canucks have the Black Panther (Ristretto Classico), which is also great, but the extra kick you get from the brown version. Nuff said. I get my fix of the Intenso and the other, not available in the True North capsule, Cafecito de Puerto Rico by driving 45 minutes south of the Canada/US border. Our Canadian Nespresso prices are decent, but it’s amazing how much cheaper capsules are in the rest of the world. Exceptions of course. Like the US and parts of South America.
The perks of being a pilot 🧑✈️
Amazing story. Thanks! 🆙
That cooler is so cute! Awesome haul
Im a flight attendant I do the same 😂
Bummer, I knew I was working in the wrong industry! 😋
But did it stay at the Holiday Inn Express?
In the jump seat, no less
May I ask if it’s hard to get through US Customs upon return? I’m going to Spain this week and plan to buy a suitcase full of capsules, but worried about declaring them or having them confiscated. Thank you!
How are the L’or capsules? I’ve always wondered about those. Never tried them.
If only that bag knew it had the best seat in the house.
