Cheesy mash, flat mushroom and peppercorn sauce to go with it.

**This is a generic reminder message under every image post**

Thank you for your picture post to r/souvide. We want to remind everyone of Rule #5. Posts should be accompanied by something to foster discussion. A comment, a question, etc is encouraged.

If you’ve posted a picture of something you’ve prepared, please explain why in a comment so people can have some sort of conversation. Simply dropping a picture of food in the sub isn’t really fostering any discussion which is what we’re all aiming for.

Posts that are a picture with no discussion can and will be removed by the mods.

    Thank you!!

How long is she at the salon that you have time to throw something in the bath? Where are the other mushrooms?

    Solid work!

If you want a more even sear I’d recommend following America’s test kitchen sear method of putting a shit ton more oil than you think you need  so there are no pockets that arnt getting seared

I always see these “lady was away so I made steak” posts. My girl would be pissed if I waited till she left to make steak lol. That woman weighs 105lbs soaking wet and can polish off an 18oz ribeye and baked potato like a champ.

Terrible sear, not gonna lie. Other than that it looks nice
