I don’t normally make dinner but I attempted it tonight
It was from an Aldi meal kit with Korean bbq and udon noodles with some added chunks of beef but I think it looks terrible 🤦♀️

I agree. It does look terrible!

To be completely honest, you didn’t make dinner. You just heated up/cooked a premade meal.

I would eat it, but can I request mine on a plate rather than a dog bowl?

People saying this looks awful didn’t grow up in the 80’s and 90’s eating Hamburger Helper 3 times a week. This looks like a fancy as fuck hamburger helper and honestly it looks kinda good.
Dunno where they get off calling it Bulgogi. Lived in S.Korea and it looks nothing like Bulgogi, but that Udon looks like Udon so I’m not hating either way.

Add a bit of water and soy sauce or miso to taste. Boil it too…but that’s the wrong type of cut of meat for something like that.

It does look terrible. I like aldi for some stuff but these type of quick and ready meals are usually ass there. Trader joes is better imo

Honestly this looks tasty to me. I love udon so maybe I’m just biased

It would look and be better with some veg content: eg bean sprouts, greens, red capsicum, spring onions, more carrots. Looks ok.

Next time use stir fry meat or something similar and add the sauce last it will look a lot better 🙂↕️

It at least looks edible, unlike 90% of this sub

The noodles looked like worms in the thumbnail, for some reason. Otherwise looks fine. Hardly pretty, but would eat.

Keep cooking. You’ll only get better.

a bit more browning on the meat and it’d be fine honestly

Could be worse

All it needs is some green onions sprinkled on it and kimchi on the side.
Next time, if you wanna add the right beef, buy the shaved steak they have in the meat section.
I use that to make my own homemade bulgogi
gobledegerkin
Honestly looks pretty tasty

It looks like my Nan’s chow mein! Which was quite tasty. It was definitely a recipe from the 70s

It might not look great but I kinda have a feeling that it would taste good??? Noddles and other ingredients looks well mixed and I love my food this way.
