CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Ingredients:
2 sticks (225 g) unsalted butter, room temperature

1 cup (200 g) brown sugar

½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

1 cup (170 g) chocolate chips

How to Make It (Step-by-step):
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, beat together the room temperature butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy with no lumps.

Crack in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing carefully until just combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips evenly.

Using an ice cream scoop or spoon, place portions of dough onto the baking tray, leaving enough space between each cookie.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 13 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.

Remove from the oven and transfer the cookies to a cooling rack. Let them cool before serving.

the flour gradually and mix carefully if the dough turns out too soft you can
always add a little more flour later the dough is ready now add one cup of chocolate

30 minutes this makes the cookies even better but if you’re in a hurry you can skip the resting
and go ahead and shape the cookies for baking using an ice cream scoop place portions of
the dough onto the baking tray making sure to leave some space between each cookie bake
them in a preheated oven at 350 F about 13 minutes i also added some extra chocolate
