The new restaraunt will open in the Knox Street development, a four-acre mixed-use development located next to the Katy Trail.

DALLAS — Sant Ambroeus, a renowned Italian hospitality group with restaurants in Milan, Paris, Aspen, Palm Beach and New York, will open its first location on Knox Street in Dallas.

The Dallas location will open in the Knox Street development near the Katy Trail in the Knox/Henderson neighborhood, according to a press release from Knox Street and Sant Ambroeus. The restaurant will offer all-day dining and dedicated outdoor patio seating, the release states.

“We are thrilled to announce the opening of the first Sant Ambroeus in Texas, marking a significant milestone in the continued growth and evolution of our brand,” Gaetano Guarducci, partner with Sant Ambroeus, said in a press release. “Knox Street has long been a treasured part of Dallas, and as it grows, we’re excited to help shape its vibrant future.”

The Dallas location will join an international portfolio of Sant Ambroeus restaurants, coffee bars and gelatarias, according to the release. The original Sant Ambroeus opened in Milan in 1936, and its partners have since translated its Milanese cuisine to restaurants and coffee bars across New York City before expanding around the world.

Sant Ambroeus is the first restaurant tenant announced in the Knox Street development, which will be anchored by a luxury hotel and private residences, the release states.

Construction is expected to be completed in 2026, the release states.

“Sant Ambroeus is one of the top restaurant operators in the industry and the perfect addition to Knox Street,” Stephen Summers, head of retail leasing for Knox Street, said in a press release. “We couldn’t be more excited to welcome them to such an incredible spot in Dallas, along with a lineup of other amazing retailers and restaurants.”

The Knox Street development will also add a new half-acre outdoor park to the neighborhood, which Sant Ambroeus’ patio will face.
