Not paying almost $15 for Popeyes again. Need to work on my Mashed Cauliflower skills for next time.

  1. Excellent spread! Also, I’m always amused when I see those white plates with the blue flowery etching around the sides. It seems like half the families in North America had them at some point

Good point. Customers are being charged for the experience. Even though those same ingredients cost a lot less when you cook it at home. They aren’t serving their communities. Instead they’re serving competition and consumerism.

I find that a bit of whipped cream cheese and an immersion blender make all the difference with mashed cauliflower, hope that helps!

Mashed…. Cauliflower? Not my thing but add enough butter and cheese about anything is tasty

    The greens look awesome

  5. Every time I’ve had mashed cauliflower I’ve thought “wow I wish this wasn’t mashed.” Yours looks great though!

Mashed cauliflower sounds vile and the fork/plate decoration combo is pmo

  7. If you don’t cook at all? This is a pretty good turn out. Nice job!

Bake cauliflower, do not boil it. I food processor add cauliflower, cream cheese and cheddar ( ratio to taste), slowly add heavy cream to desired consistency, pepper salt. To go to next level, add baked/roasted garlic, tony sprinkle of nutmeg, and tiny bit of horseradish. Trust me it works, you do not taste horseradish, but it gives something special to background taste. All ingredients ratios are up to you

    Looks great!!

Eventually you find that you dont like restaurant food, you prefer your own so you can customize 🤣

Great job & keep up the good work!!

P.S. you can also mash other root veggies(rutabega, turnip, etc), sometimes it turns out better than cauliflower & still lower carb than taters.

I love me some cauliflower, probably my favorite veg, just not mashed.
