Finally a crust I’m proud of

Just like the title says, I finally felt happy with the crust and temperature I got this steak to. I have always struggled to get a good crust and keep my steak below medium, but this time I feel like I nailed it. Also, made my first bacon wrapped asparagus and it was delicious. Grill season has not disappointed.

    I’m gonna break from other folks and say this looks solid OP. Is it perfect? Nah. But it looks effing delicious and I think the temp is spot on (for my taste anyway).

    Some people think this is overdone, but its perfect for me. But like people are saying, higher heat for shorter amt of time will get you a better crust

    If you look at this and think there is a crust on it, I honestly think that’s your problem. You should look at some of the top posts on this sub and learn about crust and how to achieve it

    We’re happy, you’re happy. But the only crust I see is on them charred vegetables.

    The only thing I’m changing is the corn for sweet potato but that’s it. Everything else looks perfect
