Eastern European MD friendly

  1. Made an Eastern European MD friendly meal today:

    – Turkey kotleti – just minced turkey mixed with breadcrumbs, a bit of milk (yeah not super MD friendly but not the worst thing in the world), an egg, grated onion, salt and pepper – then air fried for 15 minutes

    – Toasted buckwheat

    – A cucumber, dill, radish and red onion salad just dressed with some greek yoghurt (a bit healthier than the traditional sour cream)

  2. Abaconings

Looks delish! I have a milk allergy (sheep, cow). But substituting something like oat milk in recipes usually comes out the same. I might try those. TY!

  3. I just bought toasted buckwheat for the first time in my life. Do I prepare it like rice in some salted water? Do you traditionally add butter or spices to the buckwheat? Looks delicious!
