Maybe it slid off the dash and out an open window? Or maybe they ordered extra cheese and were displeased and chucked it in the road on purpose. Whether negligence or willful, it's a pizza crime for sure.

While the ejection of the pizza from the vehicle may or may not have been accidental, the fact that the pizza remains unattended on the road confirms that a crime has taken place.

At worst, we’re looking at first-degree pizzacide. At best, we’re looking at a hit-and-run and/or littering. There is no lawful way a pizza could end up in this condition, and remain so long enough to be photographed, so as soon as a suspect is identified, an indictment is guaranteed. The jury can work out if punishment is required, but if the question is, “was a crime committed here?,” the answer is unambiguously “yes.”

Manslaughter if they’re drunk. If their sober and left it on the car top misdemeanor.

Put pizza on roof, unlock car, load things, forget pizza on roof, drive.
