A simple a crowd pleaser. Smoke tomatoes, onions, jalapenos & garlic for about 45 minutes. Drop it straight from the grill into a food processor or blender & add cilantro. Serve warm.

Looks good 👍. The only thing I do differently is, I don’t devein the jalapeños. If it’s too hot, just use fewer peppers 🌶️. There’s a lot of flavor you miss out on when you devein them. Good stuff 👍

What temperature did you smile that at for 45 minutes?

I’ve never heard of smoked salsa! Incredible!

Living at an apartment complex where I don’t own a grill or a smoker, but have access to a communal grill. Is the difference provided by a smoker noticeable to most people? Already deciding what I want to invest in when we build a house.

My friend’s old roommate was this dude from Nueva Léon, and he would always make a salsa by throwing some veg on the grill. Also, if you’re using garlic, might as well roast the whole bulb instead of just a few cloves. When they’re roasted whole, the flavor is far milder.

If you put everything in a grill pan you don’t lose the juices or your garlic. 😉 Love smoked salsa.

Always keep the charred bits, adds so much flavor!
