if you’re still buying boring bottled dressings from the supermarket you should be praying to the culinary gods for forgiveness make some incredible balsamic instead starting with balsamic vinegar dijon mustard little pinch of salt some pepp some more microplaneed garlic and you don’t have to add this but I like doing a little minced shallot in here as well begin by whisking these ingredients first then start streaming in your extra-virgin olive oil you guys know the deal just go little by little and the balsamic dressing should get nice and thick the flavor on that and that’s it my friends it’s just a really good vinegrett

I tend to add a little bit of honey or maple syrup to cut the vinegar just a bit…. That said, I am the weird kind of person that loves drinking malt vinegar straight – Already salivating at the thought! π
I tried it with wasabi mustard. Best shit out there!
Usually I'll had a splash of honey and some lemon zest for extra brightness

Even better, don't throw out those old bottles; just remove their spout and rinse it out, and add in your customer vinaigrette. Now you can just shake it up instead of whisking, and you've got your own dressing shaker bottle.
