I love growing potatoes! Great job on your first haul! If the skin is peeling they’re still ‘young’ and haven’t finished growing. I’ve found I prefer them like this, idk if it’s the flavor or texture, but they’re just good. If you have kids, there is no better or more fun activity for them digging up the potatoes because each one is more exciting than the last. Actually, it’s that way for me too so it’s fun for everyone lol
