This past weeks dinners I made for my boyfriend + myself. Extra food because I also fed the contract workers that were on our property building us a new deck.

This is exactly something my mom would do. Contractors? Farm help? They got a famous Lana burger too, or a whole tray of apple cobbler, or both.

Your pics are always so gorgeous! There is no one on Reddit whose stuff I recognize immediately besides yours. Not sure where the best spot would be for this but would be so curious to learn more about your process for your food styling, if you have one!

ETA: Also curious about your cooking schedule – do you just live in the kitchen, ha? Asking because I aspire to this level of putting on a spread.

    OMG!

Everything looks delicious and so professional!

  4. lonerism-

Everything you make is simply ✨perfection✨. It’s not just the kind of food that looks good, you can tell it’s full of flavor.

Needless to say, I’d kill to be a guest at your house!!

  5. I hope this doesn’t seem offensive, but do you work outside of your home? I’d be exhausted just making these meals! All of your posts are so amazing! Your photos, your level of detail, and your obvious love of feeding people is so awesome to see. I hope someday I can make even one of your recipes ❤️
Your family and friends are very lucky. Also, so sweet to feed the contractors working on your deck.

    4. **Chipotle inspired bowls**. – Honey chipotle chicken, ribeye thinly sliced, bell peppers + onions sautéed fajita style, black beans, salsa verde, [esquites,](https://www.seriouseats.com/esquites-mexican-street-corn-salad-recipe) cilantro lime rice, lettuce, pickled red onions. Choice of flour or corn tortillas. Brown butter toffee chocolate chip cookies for dessert.
    * *Chicken marinate* – Chicken thighs, honey, 3 chipotle peppers + sauce, s+p, oregano, cumin, fresh garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, avocado oil. Blended together with stick blender + marinated overnight.
    5. **Greek inspired chicken kabobs** with red bell pepper and red onion. Roasted lemony potatoes with feta. Simple but very [soft flatbread](https://bake-eat-repeat.com/soft-flatbread-recipe/). Greek salad with cucumber, tomato, red onion, + feta. Garlicky mint yogurt. Strawberry lemonade also served with dinner.
    * *Chicken thigh marinate* – Salt, loads of black pepper, lemon juice and zest, grated garlic, fresh lemon thyme, fresh greek oregano, smoked paprika, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, olive oil. (I marinated my thighs for 48 hours, so tasty with the fresh herbs.)
    * *Potatoes* – Golden potatoes seasoned with smoked paprika, garlic powder, ap seasoning (i like kinders buttery steak), fresh oregano, olive oil. * Naan cheese is the same cheese leftovers I used for the sheet pan pizza. I don’t roll them out completely thin because I wanted them thicc.

Not picture but I baked a mini chocolate cake with whipped ganache frosting for dessert.

Fantastic. The flatbread in pic 5 looks amazing. Any chance for the recipe?

  11. Embarrassed-Dish1839

I LOVE it when you post here. Everything looks amazing!

  12. Ways_of_Leavin

Wow, looks better than most restaurants!! Lucky people 😍

  13. So, do you need more work done around the house? Jokes aside, it all looks amazing!

  14. belgravya

I thought I was a contractor’s dream customer when I bought my roofers donuts every morning 🤣 Looks like I need to up my game.

  15. Least_Tower_5447

I need to know if you have a full time job outside the home. Not to judge! If you do, then I have no excuses. If you don’t, I don’t feel like a failure. Most days it’s cereal for me if I didn’t get to cook over the weekend and I’d love to cook so I have a nice meal for the family every night. Amazing work and your photos are beautiful’

  16. asdasdasda86

If that man don’t stop you from calling him “boyfriend,” I know something

  17. Everything looks amazing but that garlic bread in the first slide has me salivating

  18. haveabunderfulday

Oh my gosh, my mouth is watering, it all looks so good!

And it’s very thoughtful of you to feed the folks building your deck. That’s absolutely something I’d do.

I just have a townhouse, but I always offer coffee or tea for repair workers coming in the morning or winter. Summer offerings get a bonus question of “Do you have a water bottle that needs ice and a refill?” It’s little effort, but maximum thought when temps are 25+ degrees (celcius).

  19. sweetconformity

I suddenly feel like an inadequate partner, main cook here and you’re beating me to death by a long shot. 😂 Superb.

  20. Empty_Breadfruit_676

You are insanely talented and also an excellent photographer!

  21. PuzzleheadedForm4813

i envy your bf. if yall want marriage he better hurry because there’s a line waiting. (i’m in it)

  22. AppUnwrapper1

Goddamn they’re probably gonna take longer just so they can keep eating this food.

  23. WerkingAvatar

You need a username that more aligns with your abilities. Nothing here looks rotten.

  24. Legitimate_Snow6419

Geez, every time I see your post, I get hungry and sad that my dinner isn’t any one of those dishes. Looks incredible.

  25. EverythingB4gel

Do you do this for a living is this ur full time thing?! This is amazing and obviously looks like to much hard work and experience!

  26. imgoingnowherefastwu

Man I’m such a shitty gf and homemaker. I wish I had the energy to make a spread like this every day. I’m usually asking my man to feed me sigh 😔

  27. Girl. We’re at the point where I see your cover photo and just upvote the damn thing. 🙄😆

I hope it all tastes even better than it looks, because it always looks amazing.

  28. Yourlifeskarma327

If the workers are smart, they’d drag that project out until next year!

  29. Acceptable_Spell1599

Can your boyfriend fight? He’s a fool if he doesn’t become more than a bf soon.

I’d marry you 10 times to have food like this daily! Leftovers too.

If you don’t, you’d be super successful posting your food on instagram I think. Or videos of your making the dishes on TikTok. It’s so stunning and yummy looking.

  30. Sweet_Check_2075

I don’t know anything about contract work, but I will learn if it means I can get some of that food in my mouth right now 😂

  31. Damn, the construction workers ate good last week.

  32. WildApplication5281

this is all so beautiful! how do you not have like six weeks worth of leftovers after this haha did the contractors eat it all?

  33. Sproose_Moose

Your meals are worthy of framing! Also huge respect for feeding the people working on your property, that’s really thoughtful. If I thought I’d get meals like that I’d become a contractor 🤗
