    I don’t know him, but I ran into Scott a few times at the TCP and he was always in great spirits. This is very sad indeed. I wish his family peace, and I hope the next person honors his legacy and takes care of TCP as well as he did.

    We were there yesterday after the protest at the Capitol. We learned of his passing then.

    Not sure where you got 2002, but he founded the Texas Chili Parlor and has owned it since 1976.

    edit: this is incorrect but what the TCP’s own website says.

  11. I worked at a bar Zoob frequented.. he was always so much fun and so sweet. Can still hear the way he’d call me “honey.” 🥺
