Hey guys one of my neighbors had this smoker sitting out by the trash does anyone know what this code means? It looks like it says see. I can’t get the screen to do anything else

When I Google Pit Boss error codes it shows it as “Err”, are you sure that doesn’t say “Set” i.e. set your temperature?

Might just be an igniter issue, which may be why it was dumped. They are cheap and easy to replace. My Pit Boss is not the vertical type but I assume they are similar?

Make sure you use it outside

I have the same one, powered it off and power it on press the set button then press the time button press the arrows up to set your time hours then hit time then choose your minutes then hit the set button then hit the set button again and press the temp button for your temp up to what you want press the temp button again then hit the set button last

It’s waiting for you to press either the temp or time button and set that but you have to press the temp or time button after you set the number before you hit set again

Go online and get an owners manual then you will know what that means. My first impression is it wants a temperature set.

i have the same unit. you press the set button and then temp/time to set the temperature and duration feel free to dm me. i’ve now resurrected it twice
