Ok… Not bad, not great, just ok… Much better options at the price point. Anyone else here try? disagree? Agree?
Still getting deep into this "hobby" so trying the weird stuff I can easily get my hands on. I'll post my thoughts as I work my way through them.
Whoever created this reddit thanks for giving us a place to see what all is out there!

Interesting you consider it a hobby lol
What did you like/dislike about it? Flavor? Texture?
I would throw these onto a pan along with all the garlic sauce and sear them
Garlic pus sauce?
I can’t stand to consume Octopus after watching My Octopus Friend 😞
I felt like I was chewing on a finger when I tried these
I absolutely loved this one
I have never found canned octopus that I like. But I come from a culture where we eat fresh octopus every week, so my standards are very high!! However, for sardines and anchovies, which are also fresh in my culture…I will enjoy some tinned fish. Not the same, but good enough!!
I actually loved this one.
But I fried it up and added it to a salad.
Not all tinned fish are outta can only.
I sautéed this one and ate it on bread. Excellent, in my opinion!
Hard disagree. The cans I’ve had have all been well cooked (tender with a nice bounce) and the garlic flavor is strong and well suited for the meat.
The price point is high but I thought the quality was there compared to other premium brands (matiz, etc), and I like that they give you whole legs instead of mystery cephalopod chunks.
I opened a tin of these a few weeks ago. Chewy and bland. Added lemon and hot sauce, but it still went into the trash…and I love octopus.
That company’s razor clams are good. But that octopus is… interesting… I’m used to tinned octopus being more shorter pieces in a more obvious sauce.
