It’s far outpacing every other tomato, both potted and in ground, it’s close to 5 feet tall, and is starting to fruit. Pictured next to it is a queen of the night planted a couple weeks after it.
Yes I have many tomato plants, but this one’s growth is nuts.

This is a plant grown from a slice of subway tomato. It is purely done in the spirit of “let’s see what happens”. I don’t like the tomatoes from subway, I like good tomatoes, but… SCIENCE!!!

    It will be interesting to see the results. It is probably an F2 hybrid so it may be very different from the parent.

    Interesting, keep us posted also you should cut one up once they ripe and see how long it looks fresh and how long they will last, apparently they breed them for long fresh stay vs nutrients etc.
