$4 is too much to waste. I can't even eat these. Something about the texture. The chili flavor is ok. What recipe can I use these in? They have only 5g total carbs and I really craved Doritos today but bought these instead.

I really like those. The taco flavored ones are great. You can use them in a taco casserole or even nachos.

Blend in a food processor and use like breadcrumbs?
codebygloom
Use them as breading for a southwest fried chicken breast/thighs.
See if you can use them to thicken a soup?
Crumble onto a salad
Mexican Lasagna
Eat them with some chorizo and eggs.

I LOVE THESE. Maybe batter something with it or use it as a meat binder somewhere? Maybe some taco salad if you’re ok with the texture mixed in with a bunch of goodies.

Roughly crush then use as crunchys for an Asian chicken salad or similar. Blend in blender/processor to make them into breadcrumbs, as others have suggested, then use for fried chicken or maybe some sort of a a pork chop recipe.
Side note, if you’re craving Doritos, you can try nacho cheese or queso flavored pork rinds 🙂

You can make a note not to waste money on them again. Otherwise, make some nacho cheese and drown them?

Grind/smash them up and use them as breading on a chicken breast. Maybe don’t pan fry it, but baked would work well.
Loosely cut them up and sprinkle on a salad, like wonton strips.
Get crazy and smash them down to breadcrumb size, and use them for a spicy meat-a-ball.
Hell, grind ’em into dust and rim your margarita glass with it.
No shortage of options if you stop thinking of them as chips.

I buy these chips all of the time (usually Nacho cheese, but these will work). In memory of the Frito Chili Pie I used to love at the rollercade in the late 70s: Open the bag by cutting a slit across the package (not all of the way, just enough to be able to eat out of). Spoon in 1 (1/2 c) serving Morningstar Farms Chorizo Crumbles (1 net carb, 110 kcals) made with extra water or beef stock (so you have a chili consistency) I microwave it and use hot and fresh, then spoon on top a serving (2T, 1 carb 77 kcals) of Julio’s Queso Dip (in refrigerated section) it is creamy even cold, but heat it a bit if you want-if your crumbles are still hot then they will warm the queso. Let sit about 5 minutes. If I want to be fancy I will top with shredded iceberg and a little sourcream. You can crush the chips first or just crush them with your spoon as you eat.
Of course you could use a bowl, but what fun would that be? This always sends me to youtube to find Doobie Bros or Aerosmith, KC & the Sunshine Band, or Saturday Night Fever – all of the greats we used to skate to.
* you get used to the texture (the way they sort of stick to your teeth, and it isn’t as bad when you use them as part of a recipe.
edit: to add, you could use ground beef if you want, I just love the seasoning of the Chorizo Crumbles and the macros are good for me AND they are fast and simple to make, and you could use any queso that you like – I prefer Julio’s because it is fresh and the nutrition/macro profile is better than those with preservatives.

Grind them up, mix them with freshly grated parmesan cheese, and use them for breading on baked tilapia.

Unfortunate that they did not work out for you
Of all the chip varieties I’ve tried these come the closest to being inoffensively similar to regular chips

I mean, call me crazy, but I just eat them like the Doritos they taste so much like? 😂
