Maybe I gave it too much nitrogen as it was growing, but my peppa dew is 3 feet tall and it’s just starting to flower. Should I chop it in half or top 1/3 or is this height normal?

The nodes look spaced out. Did it have enough sun? The leaves do look kinda dark, so maybe it was the nitrogen. If it were me, I’d keep it and put a tomato cage on it to support those branches.

Leave it alone. the only thing you should be cutting, is any leaves touching soil. Perhaps switch to a low Nitrogen fert now to help with fruiting.

Cutting it now won’t do anything so I’d leave it as it is. However, I agree with the other commenter that those central branches look very leggy. You say sunlight has been okay so I wonder if those branches are escaping the canopy. Look to see if they come from the base of the plant and don’t branch until after they breach the canopy. In my experience, those types of branches rarely produce pods, so I guess those branches could be removed? Could be risky though.
For the idea of giving too much nitrogen, how much did you give? If you know the NPK value, we can work out whether you did give too much or not.
