Lived in LA for 10 years, became somewhat obsessed with the Kogi Truck, moved away for a year, and been back for a few months.

I've noticed that the majority of their trucks and time slots now go to "Booked for Private Event."
For years, there were 3 or 4 trucks that used to hit 2-3 different neighborhoods every day in rotation, and suddenly, the entire business plan has changed to private catering. They'll go the Valley like once a week, or some random spot in Long Beach, etc. Nothing ever super convenient. It never used to be like this, they were a consistent presence in LA and it feels like almost overnight the whole operation has changed.
Does anyone happen to know what happened, or if this is permanent?
EDIT: I posted this before noticing the post that came a few days earlier and how it explained that the trucks are helping out with community stuff. That's really commendable, good for them.
