    UGH…..Sorry. I get being frugal. My mother did this and I think I suffer post pasta syndrome from it. πŸ™‚ She always bought these 3 or 4 shapes- never understood why she didn’t just mix the older with the new. They never cook at the same rate…..ok sorry rant over.

    Wacky Mac has an entire company based around the appeal of this. Their beet purple pastas never look appealing after boil though.

    I feel like dry pasta lasts pretty long uncooked, and is also relatively cheap, so I’m not sure there is a big need to do this.

    I think it looks delicious and a great way to use up small amounts of different pasta
    Oh and my kids think it’s a fun dad meal

    I always end up with 2 or 3 boxes that can’t make dinner. This is just cleaning house for me.
