Last year I had a wakeup call when my A1C was in prediabetic territory of 5.9. I’m not as strict about WFPB as some here, but I completely cut out sugar, processed food, and switched to whole foods: mostly fruit, vegetables, and legumes. I got my bloodwork done again 1 year later and my A1C is down to 5!

Heck yeah and you should be super proud!! Behold the power of plants.

  2. Yeah you have more control over your health than you think. It’s so easy. When you get to the point that you are a more strict WFPB you’ll see even more dramatic improvements.

    Yay! Good job!

Personally, I’m at the higher end of normal, I thought that was weird, but I read it’s normal for athletic people. I’m always exercising.

    Amazing, huge congrats.

You should look into intermittent fasting if you haven’t already, it’s amazing for reducing insulin resistance and lowering HbA1c levels.

Were you plant based/vegan before that?
