Ramadan Bread🌙🧡
For those who want to cook their own bread during Ramadan, here is the recipe 🧡
Ingredients:
1 glass of warm milk
Half a glass of warm water
1 tablespoon of dry yeast
3 tablespoons of oil
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
1 egg (yolk for the top)
As much flour as needed (3-4 cups)
For the top:
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon of yogurt or milk
1 tablespoon of oil
Sesame – Black cumin
For the bottom of the tray:
Breadcrumbs or flour or semolina
Put 3 cups of flour in a kneading bowl. Add sugar, yeast, water and milk and mix. Add egg white, salt and oil and knead. Add on top. Add oil and mix. Half a glass of flour can be added if necessary. The dough should be sticky. Cover the dough and let it rise for 40 minutes or 1 hour. You can sprinkle breadcrumbs on the bottom of the tray. Divide the dough into 2 pieces, roll them and place them on the tray. Let it sit on the tray for 10 minutes. Spread the egg yolk, yogurt and oil mixture on the dough. Roll out the dough with your hands and shape it with your fingertips. Place the heat-resistant bowl filled with hot water under the oven. Bake in a preheated oven at 230°.
