I'm debating on if I should update the controller to the Wireless/Bluetooth model.

It's a $100 upgrade but just curious if anyone upgraded it and if they notice any better performance. I'm not having any issues yet, but I would like to be able to use some of the features. However it's not a BIG need maybe more of a want.

I feel like this would extend the life for at least another 3-5 years give or take and then I'd be ready to upgrade to a more high end model.

Thoughts?

My Pit Boss Pro lasted 3 years before it rusted out this spring and was so rusty that when the auger motor went out I just took the opportunity to upgrade. Not sure I would spend money upgrading it. The wifi / Bluetooth connection is cool for watching your temps. It did an okay job of holding temps but would still go 25 to 30° over at times. If the old model is working for you, keep doing what you’re doing.
