I have a hot sauce problem. I have a glass cabinet where I proudly display my hotsauce collection like wine.

A few of my favorites are: Louisana, Trappey’s Bull (very mild but I love the flavor I use it as a base for a lot of stuff) pepper palace peach habanero, tobasco family reserve and Crystal.

Yellowbird habanero, and yucateco xxx. i could eat a chicken sandwich with the yellowbird everyday lol

  13. Always have franks red hot, Valentina and Sriracha (usually Sky Valley).

Then it becomes an assortment. Right now I have yellow bird habanero, yucateco green, cholula chipolte, and a really good gochujang sauce. Any suggestions for more gochujang sauces? I’m becoming obsessed and put it on everything.

I could contemplate those I should keep on back up but so far there’s only one I’ve actually managed to always have an extra one of in the hole. The answer is Crystal.

  20. skeletons_asshole

El Yucateco red sauce for sure, some form of Sriracha, and lately for some reason, Ms Linda’s ghost pepper wing sauce. Why? Not sure.

Garlic Reaper and Tobasco Scorpion are my go to sauces now for most stuff.

Tabasco original on eggs and in bloody Mary’s. Tabasco habanero on pizza. I also add a little Tabasco garlic on top of the blood Mary’s after they are mixed.

When I was in the Navy 30 years ago, my mom would send me crystal sauce. I had it in places all over the world, and it kept me going. I even got sent to mast for injuries following a crystal sauce incident. I had hot sauce and cheesey poof dust on my hands when an electrical box blew up in my face. I was wearing a shield, but debris got through the sides and into my eyes. So I took off the rubber gloves and rubbed my eyes. My medical sheet now said that in addition to being electrocuted… again… I had chemical burns and foreign object damage to my eyes. The report reached the admiral, and that’s how I found myself in front of the captain, my crystal sauce behind my back while at parade rest.

  27. DamiensDelight
