all right today we’re in a in Belgium a place called Mr spaghetti you never guess what I’m going to be [Music] eating that’s right spaghetti bit trivia for you I’ve never done a spaghetti eating challenge before in a restaurant anyway strange opening hours 11:30 till 2: they must do a roaring trade just to pay the rent off unless of course it’s a racket of some kind I’m sure it’s not we should we should mention that Phil’s here as well hey if you uh saw the highly unpopular German videos that we did Phil was the the translator SL Handler and uh he has joined us again for some fun uh much mirth and mert and uh pasta I’m going I’m going to buy him some pasta for lunch we called that in advance just because uh getting a little old now St to suck a bit so never know when you might need to be taken out somewhere put to hospital and uh have your stomach pumped hopefully today is not that day there is the XL challenge you have to eat 2.3 kilos of regular spaghetti served with some sauce you get 30 minutes if you fail to complete the challenge you charge €26 but you can take what’s left home in a doggy bag or doggy Bowl if you win hooray the spaghetti will cost you nothing at all you’ll be awarded a certificate and you get a post on the online Wall of Fame there is a bit of a weird rule with this one though in that you have to eat while it’s hot so you only get 2 minutes of cool down time I think the hard thing about this is going to be how hot it is when it comes out this is obviously a reason that they want you to eat it while hot and you only get 2 minutes of cool down time that’s going to be a difficult part I think you see the cute little cheese graer thingy FL pck so your two minute starts for the co this is the cool down time I’ve got a cool oh a bib yeah yeah can I put it on yeah of course how do I look it’s not too tight ridiculous no tighter tighter Daddy all right so we’re at a place called Mr spaghetti in Al is that right yep in Al in Belgium and I’m taking on the XL spaghetti challenge you get 30 minutes to finish it if you can finish it it’s free you get a certificate and a little post on the online Wall of Fame thingy what’s in there is it just spaghetti and bolog sauce spaghetti and bolog sauce of course 3 2 1 go oh thank you [Music] thanks I deserve this now because I was just making fun of those ladies for taking so long to eat their pasta if it came out this hot I get [Music] why I’m not from Amica we’re not either look at the steam coming off that I Phil come on blow on this for me this is so [Music] hot it tastes delicious that objective it’s very flavorful has a keen saltiness to it it’s got quite a mellow texture it’s classic it’s a silky type of pasta silky spaghetti is that better excellent let’s get some cheese on here with the mini cheese crater I get 30 minutes right yeah okay Mak my no ladies I hope you’re not leaving are you I mean you’re the only crowd we have it’s all that’s left of his fan base if you pay coffee uh weay see 100% yeah dessert coffee dessert coffee alcoh hear about the Italian chef that died no he passed away [Music] not a single pity laugh [Music] even key here of course is to not grate your fingers [Music] off great [Laughter] I can see the bottom of the bowl we’re getting [Music] there use the bib to wipe it or no yes bab do it cheese for the coffee oh yeah no worries hope you’re enjoying the coffee [Music] it’s 14 minutes all right this is be me’s food and uh that was Mr spaghetti’s Exel Exel pasta challenge just about [Music] be conratulations it’s the world’s longest Round of Applause thank you thank you thank you how many minutes 15 minutes 15 15 minutes 15 15 minutes just less than 15 minutes I another one 30 minutes do you have a dessert menu which is the best dessert which is the best one for me especially like a chocolate volcano chocolate volcano yeah what is the Crispy Cream Dream It’s a cranber oh no what’s bloody cake Zill oh man it’s a cheesecake I think it’s going to have to be the cheesecake I’m sure the uh Nutella thing is good it’s like T missu should we just do both I feel like I’m I’m in that frame of mind oh the certificate there you go thank you very much buddy you go the guy’s got a beard as well the guy actually has a beard yeah yeah yeah it’s you you know thanks thanks for what I can only imagine were many looks of ab disgust it’s the cheesecake thank you very thank you quite glad that I got to now oh yeah [Music] read it on Google put some inflection on the he pasta way

  6. Spaghetti Bolognese doesn’t actually exist in Italy. It's the wrong kind of pasta for that sauce. But, as we can clearly see, it’s still perfectly edible.
