Tried my hand at some shishito peppers, first time ever growing peppers!

Any tips or thoughts would be appreciated, I decided to let them start turning red cause I like the color and it’s said they develop a stronger flavor.

Also planted a habanero but it hasn’t flowered or began fruiting at all, not sure what to do with it but just waiting and watering it.

Trying to decide how to use them but these first few guys are going on top of salmon later.

My habaneros have been flowering for 6 months. No fruit yet. Nice looking peppers and soil by the way.

  2. I usually grill them when they turn red. Pair it with some hanger steak and you have a nice healthy meal.

My habaneros always start later than others. Once they get going I tend to have too many and give a lot away 🤣
