Currently at Kura sushi and noticed my tuna had these spots on it. Anyone know what this is? I usually don’t eat sushi very often and just wondering.

You sure is Tuna? Looks like Hamachi to me

They’re blood spots typically found in lower quality fish. It’s a sign of either insufficient bleeding or poor harvest management where freshly caught tuna were thrashing about to cause damage and internal bleeding.
It’s mostly an aesthetics thing and is totally safe to eat. The only downside is that they could promote fishy odors.
