Overall, an excellent meal. While not the greatest restaurant I’ve been to, La Pergola is absolutely a 3* restaurant! I didn’t have a single bad dish, and I’d say the amuse-bouche, lemon tagliolini (added extra), fagottelli carbonara, veal, main dessert, and mignardise were worth the price of the menu alone! My only complaint was the caviar, which was from Italy, and was quite low quality IMO. Truly beyond exceptional dishes! The wine pairing/selection was top-notch, and the service was excellent! Overall, I’d say this is easily one of the world’s most underrated fine dining spots. People shout from the rooftops about the best in NYC, London, Paris, Tokyo, etc., but Rome seems to be forgotten entirely for some reason. I’m truly surprised this is only the second review of this place on this sub. I did get to meet Heinz Beck, and he served the mushroom course. Something pretty crazy he told me was that the kitchen creates 60+ new dishes every year! In the end, I had a great experience at La Pergola and I highly recommend it!

One of my faves in the world even as a New Yorker. I can’t ever eat more than the 4 course, but more importantly which waters did you have!

This was my first ever 3 star and will always have a special place in my heart. It’s also still to this day where I ate the best pasta I’ve ever had.

They offered the Cuban as part of the experience?
