It was finally my turn!


I knew eventually I’d get some meat marked incorrectly. Somehow this was only weighed as 3.5 lbs. meant to get a full weight when I got home but it’s already been trimmed and ready to smoke.

    The fuckup here would be to go to self checkout, the bagging area BS weight detector would be alerting I think.

    Better to risk it with an oblivious checkout Lady…

    Nice, meanwhile my wife comes home today from HEB with pre-trimmed select 15 lb packer that was $5.99/lb 🤦🏽‍♂️

    Guess I’m gonna figure out if I can cook a select instead of choice or prime…

    Goddamn, It’s also ‘prime’! In my area, you can’t get prime brisket for anything less than $6 a pound. Even if that were full price, I’d have jumped on that without thinking.
