Went to REI in SoHo and around 4:50 pm saw ppl lining up at Torrisi. Had nothing else to do and was hungry as Hell so I joined them (was probably 10th person). Literally sat down by like 5:10 (they served the ones with resverations first).

Got the charred clam boule (specialty), penne morel (pasta), and beef and broccoli (main). All of them were great, especially the beef and broccoli, which was a hanger steak that's been marinated in their sauce (my pic does it zero justice). A gentleman next to me who was a frequent diner recommended I got the affogato as dessert. Even got a complimentary rainbow cake. Everything was a banger, down to the service and staff (everyone was chill). Also had 2 drinks – total of $240 with taxes and tip.
