Can someone explain how many calories are actually in this??
Says 2.5 servings and 240cal per serving which equals 600 calories, but then it says 310 for the whole package. I am very confused.

Looking at the calorie breakdown it seems only the amount of Fat increased, while Carbs and Protein remained the same. From what I can see of the directions, you are supposed to add margarine. So I’m guessing the “Per Container” serving is actually per one serving as prepared with margarine according to the instructions.

Feels like a typo and should be 610.

I’ve seen this same issue. I think it’s just a typo. I think they mean that it’s 310 calories with the butter or whatever. It’s gotta be 240 x 2.5 = 600 cals(+oil cals) because 1g of carbs has 4 calories.

If I had to guess, maybe it’s a typo and instead of “per container” it means “as prepared”?
Lots of products like this that require you to use other ingredients will give “as prepared” calories. Only thing I can think of because yeah that’s way off.

Easy way to tell is to take the total number of grams in the package and divide by the serving size. It’s actually the smart way to count up your calories as most packaging rounds the number of servings per container up!

Holy shit I’ve eaten two of these packs this week and grossly estimated calories bc I didn’t pay attention. Yikes.

Presumably 775 when prepared as suggested. Per container is definitely a typo – they intend to say when prepared. So 310*2.5
