Construction crews are deep into their work building out Northern Virginia’s first Corsica Wine Bar location. The new restaurant is coming to the Reston Town Center.
The Burn was the first media outlet to break the news about Corsica’s plans to take over the former Mon Ami Gabi restaurant space at the RTC.
We spoke with one of the folks overseeing the project and he tells us they are aiming to pass their final inspections in August and open soon after if all goes smoothly. The hiring of staff is already underway.
Corsica Wine Bar is a sister concept to the uber popular Barcelona Wine Bar, which also has a location a couple of blocks away at the the center.
The first Corsica opened last year in Denver and Reston will be the second outpost for the new brand.

Like at the Barcelona Wine Bar, the menu at Corsica is filled with small plates and shareables.
The cuisine is inspired by the Mediterranean island of Corsica and features dishes such as Whipped Ricotta Toast, Persian Cucumbers, Rigatoni Bolognese, Mussels l’Aziminu, Bastian Meatballs, and more.
Corsica also has an extensive cocktail menu and wine list. You can see the Denver version of the menus here.
