Dave’s triple cheese with extra pickles. I fixed the bun and slammed. A pleasant surprise from my last visit.
Worked at one in high school in the 80’s. Never met Dave, but he was around and shit was different. I think they’re doing WAY better than they were the last time I visited one.

I only eat fast food once every couple years and it’s usually always Wendy’s
I went for the first time in years today as well and had the opposite experience, it was trash. Meat was flavorless and bun was stale
I’m a fan. My local Wendy’s experiences have been pleasant. 12/10 will keep eating
I also went to a Wendy’s recently for the first time in a while. The place was filthy and run down, the food sucked, and it cost about a dollar less than 5 Guys.
The only thing I used to like at Wendy’s was the big bacon classic… But then they replaced it and the replacement didn’t work for me so I never go anymore

Never cared for their burgers much but the spicy chicken sandwich is better than every other fast food spicy chicken sandwich by a mile.
The burgers can be good but I find they always add a metric shitload of Mayo.
Wendy’s has the best burgers of the big fast food/drive-thru places.
Fast food is such a hit and miss depending on who’s making it and the location.
the last time I had wendys was in 2020 which was the first time I had it since they changed their burgers around…it doesn’t taste like wendys anymore. It used to have a very distinct wendy’s flavor and now it just tastes…like a burger. Eh. I miss how it used to taste.
totally depends on location. One near me is limited hours and only has 1 employee about half the time, it’s always soooo bad. If you go to a popular one though it slaps as always
I tried ordering a Dave’s Triple last night when I got off from work, but their AI-powered drive-thru robot didn’t understand what I was saying. After about 30 seconds of repeating the same thing, I got frustrated and drove off.
Their burgers have always been pretty damn great. The fries, on the other hand…

Wendy’s always delivers and is a consistent choice. Triple patty…damn, haven’t had one since my teens-early 20s. At 36, that’d be a bowling ball in my belly for hours lmao.
Worth it.
