My first reverse sear. Hit medium well next time I will cut the sear time down. But still damn tasty

    Did this last night but did not reverse sear it. I lit the charcoal a bit later then i wanted so ended up grilling in low light and over did mine into the well done range but was still extreamly tasty. First charcoal grilled steak iv had in 20 years and even though it was a little over done i savored every bite

    My first time, I totally overshot the temp too, was aiming for medium rare, but ended up closer to medium well. Still tasted awesome, though! Did you dry brine the steaks or just season right before cooking?
