    No, I’d hit up BGE for a replacement.

    Mine sits outside uncovered and gets rained on plenty. Never had an issue and it’s the same thermometer from when I bought it 15yrs ago.

    Not normal, but it happens. Do you cover your egg?

    Keep in mind these thermometers aren’t “high” technology. Think of them as more of a mechanical device and not the highest quality to begin with. They break, buy a new one.

    Yes, they do normally come in a hunter green color.

    It is on mine. It’s still accurate when compared to my Signals grate temp sensor

    Normal. Happened to mine within a month. You can get cheap non BGE thermometers online and replace it. I drilled a hole in the back and put it upside down in the sun and the water evaporated.
